Build Process

Shrek was quite a large build in our shop, almost every unit having a steel structural frame and clad with 1/2” homasote, some of which was carved by CNC and some by hand. We built all of the structure in August, and pulled it back out of storage in December to be faced and detailed. As the show needed to be trucked to a venue a two-hour drive away, everything was built in smaller pieces and packed carefully to survive multiple major highways.
