Something Rotten! was my capstone project as a graduating senior from my BFA program. I had three ATDs, which meant splitting the load of drafting between the four of us, and a lot of delegating from my part. Because of the nature of the education environment of the shop, I wasn’t only managing my ATDs and shop employees, but I was also managing the stagecraft practicum students, who often had little to no experience in a scene shop. As well as being the technical director, I also spent a lot of time on the shop floor as one of the more experienced welders in the shop, and as a scenic painter.
